Kaffir Lime Leaf Powder
We're selling freshly made kaffir lime leaf powder from our fall harvest of handpicked, organically grown kaffir lime leaves. In the past, we've sold our fresh leaves to an Asian import/export firm, New Seasons groceries, and other local markets. But this year, we have found a way to preserve the leaves for use in recipes throughout the year -- dehydration.
Also known as makrut lime leaves, kaffir lime leaves are a key ingredient in Southeast Asian dishes such as curries and soups. (See Tasty Tips Blog for Thai soup, curry paste and Indonesian sambal tauco recipes.) Renowned cookbook author Patricia Wells even uses the citrusy flavored powder to infuse oil, flavor noodle dishes, and perk up ice cream.
Our homegrown stock is very limited. We are selling a 0.5 ounce jar for $10. If you are interesting in purchasing, send an email with
